Part of the fourth assortment of blind-bagged Kreon Micro-Changers, Rodimus can be rebuilt from a humanoid into a hot rod.

This item is currently scheduled for release, but is not yet available at mass retail.

Rodimus's comic appearance pre-dates his reveal as a Micro-Changer. Given the comic version of Rodimus doesn't use the same parts as the toy, his appearance is very likely just a coincidence, not an indication writer/artist Hayato Sakamoto knew about the toy.
