5. If BW S2 was not carried in a given market, we cannot reasonably assume what station carried Season 3, if Season 3 was carried in that market at all.

6. If BW S1 was not carried in a given market, then we cannot reasonably assume what station carried Generation 1 and 2.

Information for this list has been compiled from several sources:

1. The 1996 and 1997 syndication rosters for Beast Wars as listed on the Unofficial Reboot Homepage.

2. Video clips of the promotional spots for the various cartoons. The stations confirmed this way are:

G1 - WGN,WSYM,WTAF,WDRB,WLVI,KSTW,KTVU,WRLH,KGMC,KTXH, WAGT

G2 - WVNY

BW - WPSG, WLVI

3. Myself. Being from the Cleveland area, I can guarantee the accuracy of the Cleveland market.

4. Tribmat's newspaper research. has confirmed WHEC for Rochester and the lack of a Syracuse affiliate for G1 for at least 1984 and 1985.

5. This post from Seibertron.com. Lists Des Moines, Iowa and Jackson, Mississippi.

6. [3] - Promo for G.I. Joe running during Transformers confirms the station Transformers was airing on (KCOP in LA).

7. On this page's talk page Hooper X along with other fans confirms the stations for Atlanta.

11. Ironhold has done research in the Copperas Cove Leader-Press newspaper archives which has yielded some information for the Waco, TX market. He also confirms from memory that KWKT broadcast Beast Machines and Robots In Disguise.

I have also gone through the list to check for impossibilities. Stations not around long enough to have carried one or more of the cartoons, have had their name pulled from the appropriate column and row. In cases where a station's first broadcast was in the middle of the G1 series run, I've erred on the side of caution and pulled the entry. But for those stations that started airing around September 24th of 1984, I'm leaving them in.

A 1984 televison listing in the Syracuse Herald-Journal shows that viewers could watch the G1 show on WPIX or WHEC from the NYC and Rochester markets. I'm making an assumption that the ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates in Syracuse wouldn't have picked up the show in 1985.

1984 - 28 October 1984 issue has no listings for Transformers

Both the 5 May 1985 and 25 August 1985 television guidebooks have KCEN airing Transformers at 9:30 AM on Saturday mornings as opposed to Sunday mornings like everyone else.
As I mentioned earlier, KCEN had G. I. Joe airing at 9:30 AM Saturday morning during the fall of 1984. Thing is, there would have been a mere ten episodes of the series at that point, and so I wondered how they would have been able to make those ten episodes last a full season. I couldn't find the January - April 1985 archive book, so I went with the next best thing.
At this point, I have two guesses for what happened.
1. - In 1984 and 1985, the guide book did not cover the time period from 1 AM to 7 AM; it would not start covering the 6 - 7 AM period until 1986. It is possible that KCEN was airing Transformers all along, but at an early time slot (6:00 AM or 6:30 AM) that the guide book did not show. Similarly, it is possible that the network continued to air Joe during the 1986 season, but likewise at a time period (5:00 or 5:30 AM?) that the 1986 guide books did not list.
2. - KCEN figured out that the Joe series couldn't last the full season and so brought Transformers on as a mid-season replacement, giving it Joe's time slot. When the 1985 / 1986 season rolled around, Transformers bumped He-Man & The Masters of the Universe from its weekday afternoon time slot, thereby leaving a gap in place on Saturday mornings that for some reason KCEN chose to fill with the 1985 season of the Joe cartoon (even though 1985 was when Joe became a daily series as well). That doesn't explain why Joe got bumped for Jem, however.
It's also possible that both took place to some degree. I just don't know.

1985 - 6 October 1985 issue lists KCEN-TV as the broadcaster. It broadcast at 3 PM on weekdays.
1986 - 19 October 1986 issue lists KCEN-TV as the broadcaster. It broadcast at 3:30 PM on weekdays.
1987 - (TV listings book discontinued before the start of the 1987 season.)
KBVO, now known as KEYE, also broadcast the 1985 and 1986 seasons; I cannot confirm the 1984 season (as they were not in the listings at the time) or the 1987 or 1988 seasons (for the same reason). Although KBVO is recorded as broadcasting out of the Austin, Texas market, their signal strength reached the southern part of the Waco / Temple / Killeen market during this time period, and so the network can be added to both the Austin market and the Waco / Temple / Killeen market, but with a caveat.
