The Simanzi Massacre is a battle from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Simanzi Massacre was a watershed moment for the Cybertronian race - a titanic battle in the region known as Simanzi that raged for generations, annihilating half of the entire Cybertronian race and leaving the planet Cybertron almost entirely under Decepticon control. Little else is known about it except that something called The Crucible was at the centre of it.
