Road Hugger (G1)
| This article is about the Decepticon Micromaster. For the Autobot Micromaster from Zone, see Road Hugger. |
- Roadhugger is a Micromaster Decepticon from the Generation 1 continuity family
Even by Micromaster standards, Road Hugger is brash, defiant, and contemptuous of authority. His intelligence and bravery make him Blackjack's most valued operative in the Sports Car Patrol, but his willingness to follow orders can't be relied on.

Marvel Comics continuity
While most of Transformer-kind believed Megatron to be deceased, the Sports Car Patrol worked in secret to help him regain control of the Decepticons. Using forged Autobot insignia, the four Micromasters infiltrated the Ark and lured Ratchet to Cybertron with promises of advanced medical equipment to aid him in restoring his fallen comrades to life. In reality, Ratchet was needed to assist in the recreation of Megatron's most lethal lieutenant, Starscream. Road Hugger and his teammates continued to serve Megatron as muscle until Megatron's plans and his fortress came crashing down around him thanks to Ratchet's trickery.

Roadhugger is a tattoo artist. Flame decals, obnoxious paint-apps and outright bling- he's the go-to guy. This Micromaster plys his trade in the hidden neutral bar in Little Iacon, using his artistic skill to bring some beauty to an otherwise ugly conflict. The kind of deep-detail work he specializes in may be painful, but he reminds his customers- they have to suffer for his art.
Roadhugger is fond- perhaps overly fond- of Ground Hog's homebrew high-grade. It's probably rotting his hoses, but when he wakes up afterwards he has all sorts of wonderful new design ideas!
Roadhugger was performing some painful detail work on his fellow Micromaster Mudslinger in the neutral bar when the Autobot Hot Rod Patrol arrived. Strangely, the symbol he's applying appears to be the Blentron symbol...
The letters page on Micromasters #4 explained that the Blentron symbol came to Roadhugger in a dream after overindulging on high-grade energon.
