Silverbolt is the acrophobic leader of the Aerialbots. He and the rest of his team can form Superion.

Silverbolt was present at Metroplex when the Decepticons attacked. Two Giant Bases! Everybody Getting Along, Come On, Fight!

The Aerialbots responded to another attack on Metroplex by Bruticus, Devastator and Predaking, though Silverbolt refused to fight in plane mode because of his fear of heights and had them form Superion instead. The Decepticon combiners exploited his weakness by tossing Superion into the air, scaring him too much to fight, but the Aerialbots separated and recombined on ground level where Superion could safely dispatch the Decepticons by rolling at their legs.
