Hawk is a second generation Cybertronian Empire Decepticon from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hawk is a member of the Primum Fugae, a group of Cybertronians bred for their fighting capabilities. He understands the needs to temper his disdain for their more primitive siblings, though he won't hesitate to demonstrate what exactly sets them apart from those evolutionary throwbacks.

Hawk, alongside the other members of the Primum Fugae accompanied their master Jhiaxus to Cybertron when they teleported to the world by way of space bridge. They later transformed and flew over the surface of the planet with orders not to attack the dominant strain of Cybertronians native to the world. During their travel, they saw the primordial Cybertronians and, having no orders not to kill them, targeted these abominations before their conformed universe and began massacring them. The purge was stopped by the intervention of the Dinobots leading to a fight. Hawk opened fire on Sludge with his cannon arm, and later grappled with Grimlock. When Jhiaxus finishes talking to Rodimus Prime, the Primum Fugae transformed and departed alongside their master. The War to End All Wars, Part 2
