Richard Newman (born October 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois) is a voice actor who works primarily in Canada. He is quite well known in the voice acting business for characters such as Emperor Dornkirk in Escaflowne, Governor-General Phaeton in Exosquad, Daecon in Reboot, Iron Klaw in G.I. Joe Extreme, Captain Ginyu in the first English dub of Dragon Ball Z, Cranky Doodle Donkey in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, M. Bison in the Street Fighter animated series, Sollozzo in The Godfather: The Game and many, many other roles.
