Hoshinochō

Hoshinochō is a town from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hoshinochō (星野町, "Star Field Town") is the hometown of Wataru Hoshinoumi. Eleven years ago, a meteorite hit the town, leading to a cover-up of the impact site. Since then, Hoshinochō was nicknamed "Japan's Roswell", with the appropriate gamut of rumors and conspiracies of UFOs, ghosts, and secret military bases.

• The town's name, Hoshinochō (星野町), literally translates into "star field town". However, 野 can mean "hidden (structural) member", according to Jim Breen's online J-E dictionary, which can sorta fit with the "in disguise" concept. If you look at it sideways...
