This article is about a character or concept which lacks any official name or designation. |

"City Transformers" are Transformers that have alternate modes that are intended to be a city. In actual fictional appearances, however, City Transformers very rarely approach actual city size. They are typically closer to the size of a large building. In the comic, some characters are simply depicted as a bit larger than the average Transformer.
The known City Transformers are:
- Grand Maximus
- Generation 1 Metroplex
- Aligned Metroplex
- Metrotitan
- Generation 1 Fortress Maximus
- Robots in Disguise Fortress Maximus
- Hydratron
- Scorponok
- Trypticon
See Metrotitan for a listing for that specific group.
Component Transformers
City Transformers feature smaller Transformers that transform from components of the larger Transformer itself. Fictional appearances of these Transformers are somewhat rare, when they do appear some have been shown to have individual personalities and others appear to be mindless drones.
