A boilstorm is a weather phenomenon found in the eternal storm zone known as the Howling Blashie of Spindrift.

The crew of the bloomship Murkdipper were capturing vapor eels when they were caught up in a boilstorm. The boilstorm was damaging, ripping off parts of the ship and throwing off crewmen. To make matters worse, a cloud leviathan lurked nearby in the storm and attacked. The storm dissipated once Galvatron appeared and swiftly destroyed the cloud leviathan. Heart of Darkness #3
