Rolt is a Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Rolt is in charge of the nucleon mining outpost on Messatine in the pre-war era.

Rolt met with Froid when he arrived on Messatine to examine the mental health of one of the miners, Megatron. He gave Froid what data they had on Megatron and offered to arrange a meeting between the two, but this was turned down as the psychologist had already determined a personality adjustment was in order.
