Midwinter Morning
- Midwinter Morning is a human tradition from the Rescue Bots cartoon portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Held every year at midwinter, Midwinter Morning is a holiday celebrated by the citizens of Griffin Rock. Celebrations include a gift exchange, a large bonfire held in the town square, and a visit by the mysterious and unknown Rider of Midwinter.

The tradition started in 1713 when a particularly bitter winter trapped the townsfolk in their homes. With food supplies running low, the townsfolk were finally saved when an unknown person on horseback left loaves of bread for the population. In the morning, the townsfolk lit a bonfire to warm themselves up. The event became a yearly tradition, with the role of Rider of Midwinter being passed on in secret down the centuries.
Three hundred years later, the townsfolk had begun to lose interest in celebrating the occasion, however another bitter winter storm hit the town. After a week of terrible conditions, tragedy struck when the town's gifts were lost at sea. Mrs Neederlander, the current Rider of Midwinter, had the island's rescue team deliver the usual loaves of bread, and the grateful townsfolk turned out to the bonfire in droves. Mrs Neederlander subsequently turned the role of Rider over to the rescue team. The Riders of Midwinter
