Barnstorm is a Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Barnstorm is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons who help the Autobots search the galaxy for pure Energon.

Barnstorm/Saber is a chromed redeco of the Mini-Con Thunderclash, transforming into a Cybertronic gunship. He was sold as part of the third Micron Booster assortment (called "Ver.2") in Japan, in individual, blind-packed boxes so you did not know which Mini-Con you got until you opened the box and opaque black plastic bag inside. Saber was a "chase" toy, available only in every other case of twelve. In cases without a Saber in it, the space was filled with a duplicate of one of the other eleven toys in the assortment.

This mold is also used by Flashdrive and Triac.

Notes

• As "Saber", he was originally released in Japan with no bio info whatsoever. The American name "Barnstorm", and his bio, were created by the Transformers Collectors' Club. Despite the different names, they are the same character.
• His Japanese name is most likely named after "Saber", the Brainmaster component of Star Saber, as the first three Micron Booster assortment "headliners"¹²³ have names similar to Japanese Autobot leaders/protagonists.¹²³
