A Transformer who fled Cybertron to avoid its certain destruction, the pay phone refugee eventually took the form of a pay phone along a stretch of lonely desert highway. Fortunately, he had a buddy named Signal Lancer who lived across the road.

The pay phone refugee was originally sited on a ridge overlooking corn fields. He witnessed Thundercracker attacking the motorcycle refugee and promptly contacted the Autobots to assist her. Search At some point he moved into a city and was located on the sidewalk near Signal Lancer. When Starscream's forces began searching the planet, the pair noted that things were getting bad, and the pay phone refugee wondered where Optimus Prime was when you needed him. Invasion
