Medusa
- Medusa is an alien from the Blackthorne portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
A creation of the Intruder Empire, Medusa was built to exemplify beauty and grace, and programmed with a great appreciation for culture. Liberated by Lord Imperious Delirious, Medusa became one of the Destructons. Now she is armed with huge forearm-mounted spikes and devastating "Medusa Beams". Her prior servitude has given her a strong dislike of the powerful and wealthy, which can distract her during missions.

Like her compatriots, Medusa was defeated by the Logicons and assorted other races and beings eons ago, and sealed within a dimensional barrier on a desolate world. There they waited, until two Andegean scientists stumbled on their prison, and were tricked into releasing them to destroy the Kalkar soldiers who were attacking the scientists. The Destructons made quick work of the soldier and the scientists, before leaving the planet of their imprisonment.
When Ultra Magnus's team of Autobots, out searching for Metascan Alpha, legendary home of the Logicons, arrived on an unnamed world which may have been their prize, they found it under attack from the four Destructons. During the brief battle that followed, Medusa easily disposed of Doublecross, and the Autobots were forced to flee, only Kup staying behind to try to hold the Destructons off. A short time later, the Destructons were on the trail of the Autobots, landing up on a moon where they battled against Cyclonus and the Terrorcons. Beast Wars: Uprising
Built by the Intruder Empire, Medusa was assigned to diplomatic work to other worlds, however she began to identify more with the other races than the Intruders. Following an incident involving the Intruder Prime and counterfeit korlonium crystals, she was placed in service of the empire's spoiled rich. Lord Imperious Delirious liberated and rebuilt her, and she became a Destructon. Medusa's profile
After Rampage crashed on LGC-8803, Medusa stalked him from the shadows. Alone Together: Paranoia Once he met up with Trans-Mutate and the pair realized they were not alone, Medusa attacked them along with Bruton. Despite temporarily being flattened by her own comrade during the battle, Medusa rendered Trans-Mutate unconscious, and they presented the pair to Lord Imperious Delirious. Alone Together: Kindred As the pair turned down Lord Imperious's invitation to join him, Medusa and the Destructons lurked in the background to prevent their escape. Alone Together: Delirious The pair proved resistant to the Delirious Fire, so Medusa moved in on Trans-Mutate, only to be sliced in half by the Maximal's blades. Lord Imperious Delirious later connected Bruton and Medusa up to the navicomp he'd stolen, intending to use its reformatting protocols on them. Alone Together: Clarity
