Talk:Planet X (Cybertron)
Is this lifted straight from the Cybertron packaging? If so, I thought we were trying to avoid such direct quotes.--G.B. Blackrock 21:50, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's not. Same gist, though. --ItsWalky 22:25, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Consider it a "very strong paraphrase", seeing as how the Cybertron packaging is a pretty damn good summation of what Planet X is about. -hx 22:34, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
If there's no place as Planet X, then what's that planet with 2 rings that form an X?
- If Starscream wasn't really destroyed by Unicron and was instead killed by Galvatron for betraying him, then why'd we see it happen in that flashback in "Possession"? Also, I think it's a tiny bit premature to start nitpicking before we even see how the dub treats it. --ItsWalky 23:04, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
The Planet with 2 rings to form an X is just the symbol/insignia for Planet X and it's "Peoples".
Kind of like how Soundwave's purple head is the symbol for the Decepticons.--Octopus Prime- King of the Road! 13:49, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
"Planet X went nova." The word "nova" refers to something stars do. Is this our mistake or HasTak's? --Andrusi 19:52, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
I think "nova" is being used as a figure of speech. It just blew up in a REALLY BIG explosion. --DangerDrVenture(Bodycount)

what happened to planet x?! you see it on the show in an awesome flashback thing! Why did the admins let this guy put in the picture of nothing?! ShinkisRule 21:47, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Merge
No. —Interrobang 20:31, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah, this is... just something that... doesn't really make any sense. A separate article for a "Planet X (Animated)" that notes it combines elements of three separate planets sharing its name might be a better way to go. - Chris McFeely 20:37, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
- I also disagree with the merge. The Nova/Alpha/Sentinel stuff was specifically G1-targeted retconning. This isn't the same. --ItsWalky 20:41, 17 July 2010 (EDT)
"Parallel reality" = universal stream?
I'm adjusting the page for Aurex 802.23 Alpha (aka the Unicron Trilogy cartoon reality) for interdimensional contacts. Which leads me to wonder, does Planet X come from an entirely parallel universe/dimension/reality that the TransTechs classify as a universal stream, or is Planet X's home plane of existence just some kind pocket dimension like the fire dimension, which each universal stream has its own of? I'm leaning towards the former, but I don't recall the Cybertron cartoon ever mentioning the concept of the multiverse. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:40, 25 April 2015 (EDT)
- Calling it either one would be pure speculation, there's just not enough information. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 17:02, 25 April 2015 (EDT)
