Starscream (BS)

Starscream is a Decepticon from the Iocus universal cluster.

Competing against other Bot Shots gives Starscream the chance to hone his skills in anticipation of his eventual takeover of the Decepticons. The fact that he gets to beat up on Megatron is nice too.

Fiction

Construct-Bots

Starscream was playing cards with Megatron and Soundwave when Predaking attacked their base. Megatron used a nearby Construct-Bots computer terminal and upgraded him using Bumblebee's blasters and wings, much to the spying Autobot's ire. He cringed when Megatron fell after slipping on some gumballs. Construct-Bot Lab He was later seen preening in front of a mirror (to the amusement of Ironhide and Bumblebee, who were spying on him) when Predaking flew by in dragon mode and smashed into him, scattering his pieces. As he reattached his pieces, Bumblebee switched his wings with wheels, and when he attempted to transform and fly away, he fell quite a nasty drop. Take Flight!

Part of the first wave of Bot Shots, Starscream is a teeny little fighter jet very very vaguely like an F-22 Raptor with a spring-loaded automatic transformation to robot mode triggered when his nosecone is pressed. He has a "spinner" in his chest that shows his three attack types and power levels. His head is very much like his Generation 1 counterpart.

This mold was redecoed to make Thundercracker, Acid Storm, Skyquake, Skywarp and Sunstorm.

Part of the second wave of Bot Shots launchers, Starscream is redecoed in grey. He comes with a launcher modeled after a jet, which is named the Harbinger in his online bio. The launcher can attach to him like a trailer, or open up into a base mode. Like all the Base-launchers, the weapon on top of it is an homage to a different version of the character it came with. In Starscream's case, it has a gun resembling G1 Starscream's Null-Ray laser gun.

He has a paint error on his head, with his eyes colored blue instead of red. Also, only the left 1/3 of his helmet painted its proper black, with the rest being left in unpainted gray.

Starscream can transform into a jet. Instead of being based off of his Generation 1 self like his other Construct-Bot toys, this one is made to look like the Prime: Beast Hunters version of Starscream.

Like most Beast Hunters Construct-Bots, Starscream never saw release in the United States.

• Dinobot Riders Starscream (Dinobot Rider, 2014)

A smaller version of Starscream that is based on his appearance in the live-action films. He transforms into a jet made to resemble a Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and comes with a tiny blaster. As a Dinobot Rider, he can ride any larger Dinobot Construct-Bot.
