AH ONCE ET A BABEH!

Grand Galvatron (グランドガルバトロン Gurando Garubatoron) is the pinnacle of Galvatron's lust for universal domination. Inspired by his once-master, Unicron, Grand Galvatron would have been a massive, planet-sized, sentient war machine forged from the planet Earth as well as the corpses of the most elite warriors within the Decepticon ranks.

Goofy-looking, though.

His plan is terrible.

Fiction

The Headmasters cartoon

After surviving the destruction of Cybertron and reclaiming leadership of the Decepticons, Galvatron sent his forces on a campaign to plunder energy all across the galaxy. His true schemes remained a mystery to all those around him, but eventually Scorponok realised that he planned to incorporate the Earth into his system.

Eventually, Galvatron revealed to his most trusted warrior, Sixshot, that he intended to use the energy to turn Earth into his new Unicron-sized body and become Grand Galvatron. He also revealed to Sixshot that such a body would require parts from his most powerful and skilled warriors, Sixshot included. This didn't sit well with Sixshot (gee, wonder why), who betrayed Galvatron and left him to battle the Autobot Headmasters alone. Galvatron lost the battle and was buried alive beneath an iceberg by the Headmasters' Head Formation. His dreams of becoming Grand Galvatron were never fulfilled. Ask Vector Prime

With the success of the Autobots' S.T.A.R.S. program, the Decepticons of Primax 185.0 Beta responded with their own Decepto-Pack, enslaving humans and giving them the Decepto-Packs to augment their capabilities and help the Decepticons conquer the planet. Galvatron eventually provoked a nuclear strike that provided him the energon necessary to build Zod drones which he unleashed across the reality, conquering many systems, though the Quintessons finally interfered and both forces went to war. Galvatron was finally stopped when his spark was destroyed as he was transplanting it into Cybertron itself to become Grand Galvatron. The war continued for several more centuries, the Galactic Council, representing the broken universe, blaming humanity for the war. Ask Vector Prime

No, more like Grande Galvatron.
A tiny Grand Galvatron figurine was to be included with CM's Corporation's Brave-Goukin Exosuit toy. It was displayed in unpainted prototype form at various conventions, but the whole set went unreleased due to CM's Corporation's bankruptcy.

Notes

  • In the Omni Productions dub, while showing his plans to Sixshot, Galvatron proudly proclaims, "This is Unicorn!" Sixshot reacts with a hilariously exaggerated "Whoaaaa!" Apparently, a member of the dubbing team found out about Unicron and tried (unsuccessfully) to tie the two concepts together.
