Drill Bit (Cybertron)

Drill Bit is a Gigantion Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Drill Bit is the personal attendant to the Gigantion leader Metroplex.

Drill Bit transforms into a Cybertronic (Gigantian?) twin-drill machine, using the same general bodyform-engineering as the Armada Leader-1 toy (the mold is entirely new, though). In vehicle mode, he can attach to the bucket-shovel portion of Metroplex's "Sparkdrinker" axe. He is only availble with the larger Metroplex toy.

• Megalo Convoy Gold Version (Leader-Class, 2005)

An entirely gold-chrome-and-gold-plastic version of Metroplex and Drill Bit ws made available as a contest-prize in a currently-uknown Japanese magazine, as part of the same contest as an all-gold version of Master Megatron. Fifteen Metroplexes were awarded.
