"Autobot Spike"

So, in the Complete AllSpark Almanac, on the meny for Maccadam's, there is a robot head clearly based off of Spike's Frankenstein-monster-Autobot-body from Autobot Spike. (I'll upload pictures of it if necessary as soon as I have access to my scanner). Since it's such a straightforward homage, and since this Spike is such a straightforward homage to G1 Spike, should we assume that some off-screen shenanigans ensued? Indulgent G1-ish stuff is nothing new to Animated. Then again, it could just as easily be a brand-new character based off the Frankenstein-monster-bot from G1. Thoughts? I think you're forgetting that the 'bot in question, Autobot X was not BUILT to be a body for Spike - it's a pre-existing thing that Spike's mind just got put in. This clearly would go at Autobot X (Animated). - Chris McFeely (talk) 19:50, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
