Zad is a Decepticon Micron from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Ignore the black one.

Zad is one of Serpentor's personal Microns, along with Gob. The two can combine to form the Serpent Scepter.

Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.

Prime Zad 2 was repurposed as Wings Universe Zad.

Zad transforms from a robotic gecko into a... double-blade axe kind of thing. He has multiple 5mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron play pattern, allowing him to be combined with other Mini-Cons to form bigger and more ridiculous weapons.

Zad was initially available through Gacha capsule vending machines, first appearing in early June of 2012. Zad 2 in a clear-yellow capsule. On August 20 of 2012, he was released as part of the Arms Micron Gum series.
