Kōtarō Nakamura

Kōtarō Nakamura (中村 浩太郎 Nakamura Kōtarō born on May 24, 1963) is a Japanese voice actor. Some of his better known anime and video game roles include Choukon Shungai on Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny, Keizo Teruya on Demon King Daimao, and Dizzy Wallin in Gears of War 2 & 3.

In the world of dubbing, Nakamura has played Orn Free Taa in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Grunkle Stan in Gravity Falls, and Dingdong Daddy in Teen Titans.

• Seizō Katō, the voice of Megatron from The Transformers, was originally offered the role of Megatron for the 2007 Transformers film. However, Katō declined the part, citing a lack of confidence in his ability to perform the role as well as he had in the '80s. [1] Nakamura's performance as Megatron in the live-action film series is very distinctly an impression of Katō's original Megatron.
