Rav (DOTM)
| This article is about the Dark of the Moon Mini-Con. For the Deployer, see Rav (BM). |
- Rav is a Maximal-allied Mini-Con from the Fire in the Dark portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the Dark of the Moon toyline).

In some ways, Rav's position as one of lowest ranked robots in the Autobot army is understandable. He's of only average intelligence, physically feeble, and worryingly fragile. However, that's only one side of the story. If you look past those things, you'll see that Rav is fast enough to swoop in past enemy lines and well-armed enough to make a difference when he gets there. This bot has the skills where they matter. What's more, despite his physical limitations, he's one of the bravest warriors you're ever likely to meet.[1]
He might be friends with Triceradon, Dualor, and Catilla.

- Rav (Mini-Con, 2011)
- Rav is a redeco of Classics Swoop, transforming into a robotic Pteranodon. His colors are an homage to Swoop's cartoon appearance. He was only available individually as a shared "exclusive" between online retailers Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth and "market six" discount/closeout retailers. He was sold individually alongside Triceradon, Dualor and Catilla. His jointing allows him to stand on his hind-feet as well as assume a normal flying position.
- A great many samples of Rav have their Powerlinx socket hideously warped to the point of uselessness. Be careful.
Notes

- Rav's cardback photo is hilariously mistransformed, making his Pteranodon mode claws into his robot mode hands. Also, his beast mode head is shoved down over his face. This is exactly the same botched transformation as Classics Swoop's stock photo.
- This toy was rebranded as Age of Extinction Strafe for the Toys R Us exclusive Strafe (Evolution 2-Pack, 2014) "Classic" version of the character. It also used the stock photo mentioned in the previous note.
