In his big scene, Hot Rod is a bit clumsy.
Synopsis
[edit]Hot Rod is preparing for his big scene with the Matrix of Leadership. After the director throws him Galvatron's lines to lead him in, Hot Rod dramatically rolls and lifts the Matrix overhead...where it slips out of his hands. He fumbles attempting to catch it, but can't get a grip, and the Matrix crashes to the ground, spewing sparks before exploding in a puff of smoke. The director is livid, but Hot Rod quickly claims it's Galvatron's fault it's so slippery. An angry Galvatron rebukes the Autobot, saying Hot Rod is just a clumsy fool and asking if it's still possible to recast. The director yells for the props department to get another Matrix.

[edit]- This short played in theaters before the 35th anniversary screenings of The Transformers: The Movie on September 26 and September 28, 2021. It was later uploaded to the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel on November 17 of the same year.
