Scourge and the Sweeps argue about who Cyclonus used to be.
Synopsis
[edit]As they fly through space, Scourge directs the Sweeps to land on a piece of space junk floating towards Junkion. After they land, Scourge lets the Sweeps know of their mission: retrieve the Matrix of Leadership from Ultra Magnus. When he says Cyclonus will lead, one of the Sweeps interrupts asking if he meant Bombshell. Scourge replies he meant Cyclonus, formerly known as Skywarp before being upgraded by Unicron. The Sweep points out that everyone saw two Cyclonuses created, but Scourge insists Skywarp became Cyclonus and Bombshell the second Cyclonus, who likely just left. All the Sweeps protest, saying that since they used to be Insecticons, they'd rather follow Bombshell than Scourge. Annoyed, Scourge threatens to leave them permanently on Junkion if they keep that talk up. He then orders them to attack, transforming and flying to the planet below.

[edit]- This short pokes fun at the longstanding fandom argument of who became Cyclonus, and what happened to the second Cyclonus. Flint Dille commented he wasn't even aware of the controversy until he co-wrote this short with Joe Troutman.[1]
- The cel-animated sequence of the Cyclonuses being created was taken directly from the movie.
