Astral Knight is a Commandron from the Beast Wars: Uprising portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Young and inexperienced, Astral Knight is the Commandron captain of the Cybertronian exploration vessel Hyperborea.

Fiction

Beast Wars: Uprising

A thousand years after the end of the Grand Uprising, Astral Knight and his crew pursued the stolen Terrastar all the way to the distant Triangulum Galaxy on the orders of the Convoy Council. They tracked the Terrastar and its Maladroid crew to the planet Energoa and its anomalous angolmois capsules. Their presence attracted the attention of the Skriix, who shot down the ships to defend their Mother Computer. Astral Knight made the decision to jettison the crystalline containment vessels containing the engrams of ten thousand future colonists into orbit in the hopes that they could be retrieved later on.

The Hyperborea made a rough landing near some mysterious ruins. Astral Knight and his crew realized that they were stranded on the planet until further notice, leaving the Commandron commander to wonder how he could cope with a group of criminals on the loose, mysterious alien ruins, and a strange second moon hanging in the sky.

Then and there he vowed to do whatever it took to get his crew home. Oh dear. The Inexorable March
