Fiction

Beast Wars: Uprising

While carrying ten thousand Cybertronian mind-engrams, the Hyperborea was reassigned by the Convoy Council to pursue the vessel Terrastar, which had been stolen by Maladroids seeking to flee the Milky Way Galaxy. Emerging near an uncharted planet, the Hyperborea was beset by the Skriix, who violently reacted to technoorganic intruders on their territory. The crew attempted to use the shipboard plasma cannons against the Skriix, to no avail. Consequently, the Hyperborea was shot down and proceeded to crash-land on the surface of the planet, though the mind-grams were safely ejected into the atmosphere.

And thus it begins. The Inexorable March
