Ben Montano was the Senior Director of Global Franchise and Product for the Transformers franchise at Hasbro. He's the guy who pitched the Transformers Collaborative line, as well as playing a significant role in the development of the BotBots franchise alongside lead designer Michelino Paolino. He was also the one behind Hasbro's brief attempt to minimize plastic in Transformers packaging from around 2022 to 2024. Points for trying. As of 2024 he is the Senior Vice President of sometimes-Hasbro-licensee The Loyal Subjects.
