Big Car Rally

Optimus Prime countered Megatron's attempt to bully his way to victory with a well-timed swing of a telephone pole.

The Big Car Rally is a cross-country race. A team of three drivers take turns driving one of three heats. A road-side advertisement urges competitors to sign up for the chance to win a year's supply of gasoline and oil.

Big Looker Storybooks continuity

Cliffjumper and Mirage noticed the advertisement for the Big Car Rally and decided to enter to win the grand prize. Unfortunately Soundwave was listening nearby and reported the Autobots' plans to Megatron.

Optimus Prime organized the Autobots' strategy, assigning Mirage to race the winding roads of the first heat, Hound to drive the more mountainous second heat, and Cliffjumper to finish off the final straightaway.

The Autobots faced off against other teams of human competitors. Decepticons tried to disrupt the race with astonishingly violent attempts at blatant cheating, although the humans seemed to manage to avoid injury. Megatron himself jumped in to race the third heat driving a big black car.

The Autobots foiled the Decepticons' plans by winning the race and winning first prize. The Great Car Rally
