Carbombian Protection League
- The Carbombian Protection League is an organisation from the Legends anthology portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Carbombian Protection League<ref>Carbombya is spelled "Carbombia" throughout "Two for the Price of One", so in the interests of accuracy, we have kept the spelling as is.</ref> or C.P.L. is, depending on who you ask, either a terrorist group or a band of freedom fighters. It is headed by former President-for-Life of Carbombya Abdul Fakkadi, and known members include Fakkadi's son-in-law, Pak Milaton, and financier Anton Surich. Their primary mission is to make life hard for the NATO troops who are in the country trying to keep order.

[edit]Thanks to Fakkidi's contacts with the Decepticons, the C.P.L. were able to get their hands on 25 advanced weapons from Swindle to test as a prelude to buying more. They used the weapons to launch an attack on Belgian soldiers, and accidentally ruptured a gas main.
Satisfied with the weapons, Fakkadi arranged to purchase more, traveling to Betah to meet with Swindle. Unfortunately for him, it was a trap, and a NATO unit swooped in to arrest the higher ranks of the League. Swindle, of course, got away clean. Two for the Price of One
