"Special powers" or something similar might be a better name for this category (didn't somebody call them that during "Heavy Metal War"?) I mean, eyesight is an ability. Being able to turn your head is an ability. Opposable thumbs, bipedal locomotion, transformation, on and on... -- Repowers 23:10, 4 January 2010 (EST)
- "The strength transfer is a success! I now possess all your powers in addition to my own. Optimus Prime and the Autobots are finished!" They're referred to as "powers" throughout. --abates 23:31, 4 January 2010 (EST)
- They're talked about under "Special abilities" in Dreamwave's MTMTE profile books, filed in the non-characters section. --ItsWalky 23:36, 4 January 2010 (EST)
- Even better, then. An official name, and adequately descriptive. (And faintly redolent of hilariously tasteless short bus jokes.) -- Repowers 23:49, 4 January 2010 (EST)
- Aren't they called "abilities" in the Transformers Universe entries? "Profile/Abilities/Weaknesses"? It's not really without precedent. --Monzo 00:02, 5 January 2010 (EST)
- Well, the "Abilities" section in profiles also includes mundane things such as speed (in mph) and strength (in lifting ability), as well as things that this article probably actually means to cover, like warping and magic swords and holograms.--ItsWalky 00:07, 5 January 2010 (EST)
