Category talk:Heads of State

We have a lot of characters who could go in this category: Optimus and Rodimus Prime, the G1 Emperors of Destruction, the Triumvirate, Great Convoy, the President of the United States, Cobra Commander, Serpentor, Doctor Doom, and the Kings of Beest. However, does the fiction rarely making a distinction between an Autobot or Decepticon leader who rules a state and one who merely leads a ragtag group consisting of the few dozen members of their faction in the fiction at the moment make such a category untenable?

- He's a mayor. Not a head of state. I really don't see a need for such a category. Though I do wonder which versions of Optimus Prime would actually qualify as a "head of state" rather than just military commander of the Autobots. I guess G1 cartoon Optimus would, but only in Rebirth. --KilMichaelMcC 08:48, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

- You don't see a need for being able to go to a category page and see all the rulers in Transformers stories? I'd find that handier than Category:Entertainers as far as functions go. -Rotty 09:00, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe if it was something other than "Heads of State," so as to include only Transformers leader/ruler-type figures and not be cluttered up with the likes of Abdul Fakkadi and other random dudes. --KilMichaelMcC 09:06, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

- Nah, go for it. Hey, what was the name of that one Transformer who appears only in a Megavisor slide? -Derik 08:43, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
