Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth (born August 11, 1983) is an Australian actor best known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After gaining fame in his home country on the soap Home and Away, Hemsworth gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of George Kirk in the 2009 Star Trek reboot, before going on to star in The Cabin in the Woods, the Red Dawn remake, and the first Thor movie in 2011.
As well as Thor, Hemsworth's recurring characters include Eric the Huntsman in Snow White and the Huntsman and its prequel Winter's War, and Tyler Rake in Extraction and its sequel. He has stretched his muscles to comedic roles in the Ghostbusters, Vacation, and Men in Black reboots; portraying real-life figures in the Ron Howard films Rush and In the Heart of the Sea; and playing villains in Bad Times at the El Royale, Spiderhead, and Warlord Dementus in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
On the voice acting front, he has reprised the roles of Thor in What If...?, Loki (specifically as the Throg variant), and the 2011 video game, and Kevin Beckman in the 2016 tie-in Ghostbusters game.
