Cybertronian vault

The Cybertronian vault is ancient technology dating back to the early days of Cybertron. Whoever created it was intent on ensuring the technology it contained did not fall into the wrong hands, thus it can only be unlocked by completing a virtual reality simulation gauntlet to rescue whoever is the first to try to open it.

A Cybertronian vault containing four Mul-T-Cogs and the Sparksayer was aboard a Cybertronian ship that crashed on Earth. The vault was recovered from the ship by Ratchet, however when he tried to open it, he became sealed in a stasis field. The recruits were forced to enter the simulation the vault had created and rescue Ratchet, at which point the vault opened and they were able to extract the technology inside. The Vault Of The Primes
