Dolphin Wonder Festival

Griffin Rock's yearly multi-day Dolphin Wonder Festival attracts tourists from the mainland, who come to see the dolphins which play off the island's shore.

One year there were no dolphins, resulting in Mayor Luskey dressing up in a dolphin costume in an attempt to keep the tourists from leaving. The following year, he and Mr. Alper deployed beacons to attract the dolphins to the island. Though it worked well at first, the beacons ended up leading the dolphins to become stranded in the wetlands upriver.
