[edit]The Autobots established an alliance with the skilled geologist Melody Keen, who met Jetfire when he arrived at what would become their new base of operations. Meanwhile, the opportunistic Luca struck a deal with the recently-arrived Starscream. Collecting resources from raids on other enemy installations, both sides would begin growing their main bases, and they were eventually able to summon Ironhide and Bludgeon using a crystal-powered Space Bridge. After several more battles, both teams managed to get their hands on enough crystals to bring Optimus Prime and Megatron to Earth. With their leader now present and able to better run things, the Decepticons began their hunt for an artifact called the Fractal Map, with the Autobots beginning their own search for it soon after. Get Optimus! / Get Megatron!

Optimus Prime placed Laser Optimus in charge of a new unit called the Earthforce, which was tasked with protecting the inhabitants of the Earth. Their first mission saw them investigating a part of a mysterious space station that would come to be known as Cyber-City. Megatron assembled a team of his own to investigate the structure, placing his alternate-universe counterpart in command. During the investigation, they discovered that it came from Laser Optimus and Armada Megatron's universe, and brought other natives from it in the form of Armada Scavenger and Wheeljack. They also discovered the fortress fragment's system had been taken control of a mysterious being known only as "the Entity". New Armada Scavenger and Wheeljack revealed to them that the fortress hosted an array of weapons that could be used against the Entity, but they were scattered across the other fragments. The two teams, the latter of which was now calling themselves the Terrorcons, located a fragment in Santa Cruz de Cana, Panama, over which a fierce battle was fought. The artefact within was found to be a team of Mini-Cons that could combine into the powerful Skyboom Shield. During the battle, more inhabitants of the alternate universe were awoken from stasis, specifically Overload and Demolishor. Following the Terrorcons' withdrawal, Megatron found the Skyboom Mini-Cons in the woods and took them hostage. Second Armada
The introduction of the Skyboom kicked off a hunt for other Artifacts of the Primes, as it was believed the Entity would come after them since they could defeat it. In order to be able track when it next entered their universe, the Autobots sent the Earthforce to the last Cyber-City fragment in Canada to destroy it, only for them to find the Terrorcons there too, on the same mission. During the battle, escape pods containing the components of another Star Saber and the Dark Saber were found and opened. While all of this was happening, it came to light that everything that had been going on as of late was part of a prophecy foretelling the coming of a second Age of Primes. Megatron also deciphered the Entity's true identity: Megatronus Prime. They sought out his Requiem Blaster and found it in Argentina. During the conflict, the Forge of Solus Prime at last resurfaced, and both teams used it to build a Primal Basilica for themselves, which depleted of its energy and caused it to disappear. The Requiem Blaster was also destroyed, but the Autobots and Terrorcons usde their other Artifacts to triangulate its position, leading to a confrontation with Megatronus in unspace that ended with the other two Megatrons seizing the weapon for themselves. Third Armada (Part 1) All focus was then directed towards finding the Forge of Solus Prime, which meant finding Solus Prime, which meant contacting Vector Prime (for the Autobots) or Nova Prime (for the Terrorcons) so they could summon her. While he waited for the splinter faction to make a move, Megatron sent the Combaticons and Stunticons out to test the Requiem Blaster. The Aerialbots and Protectobots spied on them until a battle that the Terrorcons entered began. Meanwhile, Melody and Luca were able to contact Solus Prime, who told them that when the Forge returned, it would choose one of them as its wielder. After this, Luca was kidnapped by Quake, Megatron's inside man within the Terrorcon ranks. The Forge soon materialized on the battlefield after Solus went there to prevent Megatronus from ever wielding the Requiem Blaster again, but it chose neither of them and disappeared again along with the Blaster. Third Armada (Part 2)
In the aftermath of all the Prime-related chaos, Laser Optimus requested that the Earthforce be granted full autonomy so they could focus on their original directive while everyone else battles cosmic-level threats like the Fallen. Megatron also decided to go back to basics by sending a team out to harvest some geothermal energy from a well in New Mexico. The upper hand in battle shifted constantly, with the tide most prominently being turned first when Sundor and Ratbat arrived from Cybertron and then again when Sideways, another native of Laser Optimus and co.'s universe, showed up. Curiously, Sundor and Ratbat claimed they were sent for by members of the two teams, but neither bot recalled putting in the request. Sideways, who had no memory of how he crossed dimensions, pledged his allegiance to the Autobots and became their double agent within the Decepticons. Megatron promptly assigned him to be his spy in the splinter faction. Megatronus and Bomb-Burst, meanwhile, watched the battle from afar, with Megatronus revealing that that he himself had a double agent currently fighting in the war to gather intel and cause chaos for him.
