Eletrix
Eletrix was a subgroup of electronic Transformers released by Estrela in Brazil in 1985, under license by Hasbro. Each toy is a slightly-squashed car with a two-button wired remote control: one to switch from vehicle to robot and make the robot "walk" forward, and one reverse the transformation and send the car rolling ahead. They are powered with two AA batteries.

[edit]- As these toys' packaging does not have any sort of a bio or profile, and since they predate the Optimus and Malignus factions, it's unclear whether Eletrix are good or evil. However, they use the Autobot-style packaging, so it's generally safe to assume "good".
- Like many of the other toys released under the Transformers name at the time, Eletrix were toys originally released in Japan under a different name—in this case they were released by Yonezawa Toys under the name Remote Change Robo Series. They were also released in the US by Village Toys as Convert-A-Bots "Pow-R-Bots". The plastic colors for all three companies' releases of the toys are unchanged, only the stickers are different for each one.

(TV) Space Explorer</ref> This means that, by virtue of Estrela, the company that invented what we might informally understand as a 'transformer' also ended up producing a set of molds that would, in fact, become official Transformers figures!
