Evan and Dwight attended Roadhandler's first match, against Jake "The Jackhammer" Jackson. Evan rooted for Roadhandler, considering the Jackhammer a jerk. Dwight was contrarily supporting the Jackhammer—at least he was a human! (Or at least not a robot suit.) Unknown to both, Zarak was sitting next to them, making sneering faces.

The two watched the match, and Evan spoke up when the Jackhammer brought out a literal jackhammer, considering it cheating. Dwight was more forgiving. Roadhandler was able to easily dispose of the jackhammer and beat the Jackhammer. Evan considered Roadhandler to be awesome, bringing over Dwight to his side. The two would later join the Roadhandler's Robo-Maniacs fan club and regularly attended the Micromasters' matches. The two participated in a trip to Arnie's Gym where Roadhandler taught his fans some wrestling moves, but the trip was cut short when Zarak, posing as a manager, wished to speak with Roadhandler in private.

The result of the talk was a match against Storm Cloud. In line for the match, Evan and the rest of the fan club found themselves under attack by the Air Strike Patrol. Zarak had engineered the situation to force Roadhandler to lose the match and destroy public opinion of the Autobots. The Off Road Patrol were able to save the humans and once Roadhandler was aware of this, he defeated the Decepticon Micromaster. Dwight and Evan joined in the ecstatic celebration, but were put off by Roadhandler's proclamation that wrestling and his fans were beneath him. They soon discovered the truth: Roadhandler desired to distance himself from wrestling to keep his fans safe. Roadhandler parted himself from his two fans by telling them to find the heroes within.
