Fumihiko Tachiki

Fumihiko Tachiki (立木 文彦 Tachiki Fumihiko born April 29, 1961) is a Japanese voice actor and narrator. Known for his low voice, he was originally a blues singer before taking up voice acting, rising to prominence in such roles as Kenpachi Zaraki in Bleach, Yūichi Kirisaki in Yakitate! Japan, Sloth in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Shadowmaru of Brave Police J-Decker, Akainu & Don Krieg in One Piece, Boss in Mazinkaiser, Andrey Dolzaev in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and of course, Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Fumihiko was also the narrator (and Gaia Memory voices in the latter) of [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Kamen Rider Kuuga|{{#if:||Kamen Rider Kuuga}}]] and [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Kamen Rider W|{{#if:Kamen Rider Double|Kamen Rider Double|Kamen Rider W}}]].

In the world of dubbing, some of Tachiki's most notable roles including Ralph the Guard in Animaniacs, Albert Wesker (Jason O'Mara) in the Resident Evil film series, Jimmy (Quentin Tarantino) in Pulp Fiction, Ambassador Loquel (Paul Eiding) in the Star Trek franchise, Plo Koon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Gorilla Grodd in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Stainless Steve Steel in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and several additional voices in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

He is part of the musical group 2HEARTS alongside Toshiyuki Morikawa.

The Transformers

When "The Rebirth" was released in Japan in 1996, it was given the American The Transformers branding to differentiate it from the Japanese Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers continuity. Tachiki's performances are applicable only to "The Rebirth" episodes.
