Gacha Balls

We wanted to make absolutely sure you got one with Optimus or Bumblebee on.

Gacha Balls are a range of foam rubber balls released by Gacha International in July 2011 as merchandise for Dark of the Moon. As with their previous releases, Gacha Balls are available from Gacha International's capsule machines, obtained by inserting a coin into a slot in the front of the machine and twisting a dial until a Gacha Ball drops into the dispenser opening.

As Gacha Balls are themselves balls, unlike the previous releases, they do not come in plastic capsules, but are simply shrinkwrapped with the small catalog wrapped around them. Each ball is divided in two, with a piece of artwork on each side depicting Optimus Prime, Bumblebee or if you're really lucky, something else.

There are six balls to collect:

• Optimus Prime / Bumblebee
• Bumblebee / Bumblebee
• Bumblebee / Bumblebee
• Sentinel Prime / Shockwave

Notes

• The catalog included with the balls carries a standard "choking hazard" warning, despite the fact the balls are much too large to be choked on.
