Gacha International

Gacha International is a company specializing in Gacha toy vending machines. Originally a subsidiary of Tomy Europe, the company split in 2004 under the name Tomy Yujin. It became Gacha International in 2009 when it was acquired by Tomy UK.

Their vending machines dispense capsules when a coin is inserted into the front and a handle turned. The capsules contain small toys, usually trinkets on elastic that can be attached to cellphones and other electronic devices. Said toys are dispensed at random, so collecting a complete set can take a number of tries. Toys are usually tied in with franchises, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Hello Kitty, Pokémon and a number of Disney titles.
