Gary's mother was seen comforting Daniel Witwicky and scolding Bulkhead after News Bot's head fell off. Headmaster While driving another small child around, she was stopped by construction works and honked her horn impatiently. When Optimus Prime lifted a chunk of concrete over his head to move it out of her way, she thought he was menacing them, and drove away terrified. The Elite Guard

She was trapped in a burning building, damaged during a Decepticon attack on Detroit. Luckily the Autobots were on hand to help, even though they'd been oddly transformed into humans. Optimus Prime and Ratchet helped her clear of the building, but she could hear Gary calling out, and told the Autobots he was upstairs. Prowl rescued Gary, who subsequently ran to his mother's arms for a hug. Of course, it didn't actually happen, because it was all in a virtual reality version of Detroit created by Soundwave to trick the Autobots. Human Error, Part I
