Geobomb
- A geobomb is a weapon used by Galactic Council in the 2005 IDW continuity.

During the Great War, the Decepticon called Killmaster developed a "moon gun", a weapon capable of destroying moons. The Galactic Council later acquired the blueprints, and used them to develop the geobomb. Once ignited, this small, red orb is capable of destroying an entire planet with its detonation. There is also a blue geobomb type, which does something...a little different.

[edit]Geobombs were small, round devices capable of destroying entire planets, engineered from the plans for Killmaster's "moon gun". Animals The Council developed multiple variants of the geobomb, though the red ones remained the most well known by other space-faring species. The blue models were capable of teleporting whole planets. A World Misplaced

When Overlord was taking too long in his Council approved assassination of Megatron, General Neech teleported a blue geobomb into the depths of Necroworld, where it manifested in front of Nightbeat and Rung. Do Not Go Gentle When it detonated without destroying the planet, the two Autobots assumed it had burnt itself out, causing only a minor tremor. Some Other Cybertron
When Rodimus managed to make contact with Brainstorm, the scientist realized (much to his and Nightbeat's delight) that the blue geobomb was a different variant than the red one. He speculated that the bomb was supposed to have teleported Necroworld either to another part of the galaxy far from Council space, or even to a neighbouring galaxy, but that it had malfunctioned and sent them all to a different universe instead. Rodimus was skeptical, but didn't have a better explanation. A World Misplaced
Scorponok later teleported a geobomb into Mederi's Ward Zero so the moon could be shunted through the Warren and into the Benzene Cluster, Farsickness to complete the ontological paradox that had sent the Grand Architect on his crusade. The Return of the King
