Neech is a Galactic Council-aligned alien from the IDW continuity portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

General Neech, captain of the Retaliator, is a loyal Galactic Council officer always looking out for the best interests of the state.

At some point, Neech had come into contact with Getaway.

The Galactic Council opted to turn a blind-eye to Megatron's Autobot status until he saved Miliarium, creating an existential threat to the Council's existence. Neech was lent Overlord, whom he sent to the surface to slay Megatron. Your Fierce Tears Much to Neech's rage, not only had the D.J.D. beat them to the planet, they were taking too long to kill Megatron. Do Not Go Gentle Getaway then called to try and amend their earlier deal and spare the Autobots with Megatron but the Council captain proved immovable. Filling in the Blanks Neech then grabbed a blue geobomb and teleported it into the depths of Necroworld. Do Not Go Gentle
