Greg appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

Driven by primal instinct after the destruction of his cybo-dendrons, Slag ended up in Old River Valley, where he trampled over the ranch Greg and his brother maintained and let loose forty heads of cattle. Angry at the giant robotic dinosaur, Greg gave chase, and his bother rode after, trying to persuade him to give up the mad pursuit. Greg eventually roped one of Slag's horns, using it to climb on his head, where he attempted to shoot the beast. It failed to do any damage, but gained the Dinobot's attention and anger. He was eventually rescued by the Autobots, who wrassled the beast to the ground and got the human to safety. Dinobot Hunt!
