While searching for Starscream, Egon Spengler detected his PKE signature in Queens, and tracked him to the generating station. After Peter Venkman helped evacuate the plant so that Optimus Prime and Ectotron could operate without attracting attention, the team wound up facing off against first Starscream, then his electrostatic master Kremzeek, who was able to increase his power by leeching off the local power grid. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 4 After Kremzeek's defeat, the Ghostbusters were then forced to contend with a ghostly Megatron and his Decepticon minions, but were eventually able to overcome the Decepticons and safely contain them within ghost traps. • Grosbeak Generating Station is based off—and visually nigh-identical to—the real-world [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Ravenswood Generating Station|{{#if:||Ravenswood Generating Station}}]], which can also be found in Long Island City. Just like the real station, Grosbeak is apparently owned by the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Con Edison|{{#if:||Con Edison}}]] corporation, a company that made minor appearances in both of the original Ghostbusters movies.
