During the War of the Threefold Spark, Exarchon managed to usurp the Titan Croaton. Citadel managed to destroy Croaton's body, leaving the shattered remains of his corpse to drift around the sun, forming the Croaton Cloud. Wheeljack: Orbital Decay

• The star gets its designation from Simon Furman's unofficial novella, "Alignment", which mentions the "Hadean system". The name presumably comes from the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Hadean|{{#if:||Hadean}}]] eon of Earth's geological history or its etymological root of [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Hades|{{#if:||Hades}}]], a name describing the underworld and its ruler in Greek mythology.
