Headlock is a Transformer from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

One of the many inhabitants of Iacon's black market, Headlock may be smart enough to cooperate with the 'bots of Security Operations... but he's not smart enough to understand the larger political realities that surround the Autobots, Ascenticons, and The Rise.

In the years before the War of the Threefold Spark, Headlock was involved in Cybertron's gladiatorial arenas, and watched in horror as Megatron defeated Lugnut in a match. The Change In Your Nature Part Three

By Sentinel Prime's era, gladiatorial combat had been outlawed and Headlock became an influential figure in the Cybertronian black market. Headlock traded with an influential Voin scavenger who had previously witnessed Brainstorm's murder. When Security Operations began searching for the Voin, Ascenticon sympathizer Barricade pumped Headlock for information regarding the Voin's whereabouts, but passed the information along to Senator Soundwave instead.
