Date and Category?

Question. Would it be difficult to add a variable (or whatever) to the coming soon tag that adds on a "This section is on hold until ((insert date here))"? This would be used pretty much only for Fan Club stuff, which has specific release dates and the one-month hold period, because not everyone keeps up-to-date with the Club releases.
Also, can it add a "Coming Soon updates" or somesuch category? That way we can have them all together... perhaps the "|club" add-on would put them in a "Coming Soon Club updates" sub-category? Just idle organization thoughts. --M Sipher 14:52, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Template:Coming soon already accepts a date argument. Read the instructions.  :) A category wouldn't be a bad idea, though. One can already use the "what links here" to see a list of articles which call it, but, a category could subdivide things and would keep them alphabetical. You can do it yourself, of course. Somewhere near the end of the template's "include only" section, just add the category name of your choice. --Steve-o 21:48, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
