Immediately after the end of the Great War, the Maximal High Council formed the Imperial Peace Marshals to protect the fragile new peace on Cybertron. Its known members include:

After the disappearance of the Axalon and the Darksyde, the Marshal known as Depth Charge went rogue and attempted to pursue the Axalon (and Protoform X) through time and space.

When terrorist activities began in Cybertron's development sectors, Peace Marshal Command assured Apelinq, the Wreckers' top man after Rodimus, that everything was under control. This was a big fib: more and more attacks occurred and nineteen Marshals were eerily silenced, though Command insisted they didn't need help. Then fifty Starhoppers exploded at a major spaceport and they had to take the Wreckers' help.

Soon, the source of this plague was revealed—Megatron had returned! Over thirty Marshals left their posts to combat Megatron and his overwhelming new army of Vehicons, but all were eventually silenced.
